When we were kids they told us Nothing. We thought Life was something, And if it wasn't, We thought We could fix it. Then reality came And slowly We grew up. We experienced. So much. Maturity tainted our eyes And we learned How to tell lies. Now they ask us "How can we change the world?" But we just sit and stare. We don't know how to answer. We don't know how to care. We can't change the world, Because we can't change Government that is corrupt, Religion that is faithless, And Education that is bankrupt. We can't change a world. We can't hone a person. Imperfection always exists, Nothing really changes, Until humanity desists. | LJ is a senior at SOHS and a member of our state champion girls soccer team.
